PARKLANDS School pupils have raised more than £1,500 through business ventures which they started with just a fiver each.
In just one month, little entrepreneurs managed to turn their fivers into hundreds of pounds through innovative business ideas.
They took up the Virgin Money Fiver Challenge, one of the schemes rolled out by the business charity Young Enterprise, in an aim to inspire creativity and develop enterprising attitudes.
Ideas included cake and craft creations, car washing, photography commissions, junk clearance and sales.
Their profits will go to Young Enterprise, the WWF and Cancer Research.
