A FLYING mini looks over Oving, after sculptor Peter Hague decided to transform some old machinery into a work of art.
Similar to the Festival of Speed sculptures at Goodwood, Mr Hague was inspired by a sculpture he spotted in London three years ago.
He had some scrap machinery dating back to 1932 when his father took over Madam Green Farm, and decided to put it to good use.
“I didn’t want to scrap it,” he said. “So I thought, what can I do with this?”
He then found a shell of an old Mini and painted it like a Mini his wife Susanne once owned.
This sculpture is the result of two years’ work.
