Mystery solved? Second trampoline park could come to Chichester
A trampoline park could be on the cards for Chichester's City Centre, the Observer understands.
A planning application has been submitted for a ‘leisure facility’ at City Gates, between a bowling alley and a Wetherspoons pub.
Speculation has pointed towards new business Air Arena to fill the space, however a partner of the company has not confirmed the location in Chichester it will be moving to.
However, owner Stefan Cappella said: “We have agreed terms subject to planning and the deal is very close to completion.
“We are very excited to be coming to Chichester.”
He added: “What is different with Air Arena compared to other trampoline parks is that we want our location to be close to other facilities such as a bowling alley and a cinema.
“We understand that going trampolining is a day out and we want people to go off and do other things afterwards, rather than going to a trampoline park on an industrial estate in the middle of nowhere.”
Stefan continued to say that between the three partners for Air Arena there is an average age of 25, and they hope to bring a young approach to trampolining.
If approved, Air Arena will join Flip Out which has been confirmed for Glenmore Business Park, which is located to the south-east of the Portfield Roundabout on the A27.
