TWO modernised Post Offices will soon open to provide more than 100 extra hours of service a week to Bosham and Selsey residents.
The Co-Operative stores in Selsey High Street and Delling Lane, Bosham, will open new Post Office services in February which will open earlier, close later and open on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Selsey office will launch at 1pm on Tuesday, February 3, to provide 52 more hours a week than currently offered.
Two main counters will be open Monday to Saturday, from 8.30am to 6pm.
There will also be a serving point at the retail counter offering selected Post Office services Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 8.30am then again from 6pm to 11pm and on Sundays from 7am to 11pm.
The office will close for refurbishment from 6pm on Saturday, January 24.
Alternative offices will be available at Hunston and Bognor Regis.
The new office in Bosham will launch at 1pm on Monday, February 9, to provide 59 more hours a week than currently offered.
There will be two counters open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5.30pm and a serving point at the retail counter, offering selected Post Office services on Monday to Saturday 7am to 9am then again from 5.30pm to 10pm and on Sundays from 7am to 10pm.
The office will close for refurbishment from 5.30pm on Thursday, January 29,
Alternative offices will be available at Southbourne and Parklands.
The modernisation is part of a Government investment programme which aims to make it easier for customers to do business by providing longer opening hours and modern open plan services.
