A NURSING home activities coordinator has won an award.
A nursing home activity coordinator has won an award for her work.
Karen Barber, who has worked at Glebe House in Southbourne for more than fifteen years, received the Dorothy Mason Award 2014 today (January 23).
The award recognises the outstanding work of activity workers in older peoples services and is supported by the ‘Alive’ charity which aims to improve the quality of life for older people living in care, by enabling participation in meaningfull activities.
Karen was thrilled to receive a framed certificate to treasure and £100 to put towards the activity budget.
