Olympic stars launch £1.5m refurbishment

Double Olympic gold medallist, Rebecca Adlington and Rio golden girl, Alex Danson will join families in Chichester to celebrate the completion of vast improvement works at a local leisure centre.

Everyone Active is opening the doors to Westgate Leisure Centre on Saturday, November 5, from 10am – 4pm for a day of free activities for all the family. The centre has recently undergone a £1.5million improvement, which includes an extended gym area, new hot yoga and group cycling studios.

Guests will also get the chance to shoot and score passed Team GB hockey gold medallist, Alex Danson. Children on Everyone Active’s swim programme have also been given the opportunity to join in with water-based activities led by Rebecca Adlington and other Olympic athletes, including bronze medallist Cassie Patten and water polo captain Craig Figes.

Activities will include children’s face painting and bouncy castle, gymnastics demonstrations, family swim sessions, group exercise classes and Hot Yoga sessions.
