Dogs not the issue

CHICHESTER District Council held a public consultation on dog control orders on the footpaths around Chichester harbour '“ the responses were overwhelmingly against the idea.

However this is no ordinary consultation: this is a CDC consultation... they ignored the public and took the views of the unelected, unelectable, unaccountable, not resident, Solent Forum.

I would love to meet the dogs CDC are accusing of scaring the birds.

Are these the same dogs responsible for scaring the oysters away?

Or would that be the sewage outflow?

So from October 1, you can expect to see CDC employees with nothing else to do asking people to put their dogs on leads for fear they look at a duck in a slightly odd way.

Let us hope these mandarins don’t scare the birds away with their clipboards.
