Numbers add up for someone who likes to help others

IT'S great to meet others who not only enjoy the challenges of running a business, but who also have the energy to reach out and help others.

Jenni Kenyon was originally a German tutor until her youngest son was diagnosed with autism and sadly he was a poorly

child, so her teaching schedule was disrupted to the point where she could no longer continue this line of work.

Jenni looked for a career which would work around her home life and so retrained as an accountant, and in 2008 launched her business, JK Accountancy and Bookkeeping.

www.jkab.co.uk is known for its strong branding and Jenni’s favourite colour purple, signifying her friendly and sympathetic outlook – everything you’d need in an accountant!

She is a group leader for the 4Networking group which holds fortnightly breakfast meetings at the Chichester Park Hotel, followed by the more informal Elevensies group at Harbour Way Country Club. Jenni is also on a heartbreaking personal mission to raise £20,000 for her dad’s stem cell treatment needed to treat his Motor Neurone Disease.

Jenni has been busy organising events such as comedy nights, bike rides and online silent auctions. Read her story www.savemydad.co.uk
