It may be the height of summer, but we are already thinking about our Snowman Spectacular Ball in December!
Last year’s Ball was an outstanding success for Chestnut Tree House and raised £415,596 on the night. This year’s Ball is on 5 December, and we can’t wait.
Last week, we held an event in Brighton to give guests and supporters an exclusive preview of what they can expect this year.
We officially revealed the line-up for this year’s Ball which features The Overtones – the fantastic five-piece harmony band is currently on a sell-out UK Tour.
They appeared as contestants on the X Factor in 2009, and also recently appeared as guest performers on Britain’s Got Talent.
Every year the Ball is supported by the children’s author, Raymond Briggs, who is one of our Patrons. Raymond has kindly allowed us to use his iconic Snowman image for the Ball and every year creates a new signed illustration for us which is auctioned on the night.
The Ball’s headline sponsors this year are well-known Sussex businesses, law firm Thomas Eggar and recruitment agency, Classic Consulting.
We also have some other fantastic sponsors, for which we are very grateful as we couldn’t put on the event without them.
Although tickets for the Ball are now sold out, we do still need lots of help with auction lots and Christmas gift tree prizes, so if you can help please contact Anna Woodward on 01903 871821, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Over the years, our Ball has developed a reputation for being the best charity ball in the South East, and since 2008, it has raised over £1,300,000 for the charity.
