Bognor hair stylist urges clients to raise money for charity during coronavirus lockdown by staying away from the scissors and clippers

Bognor Regis hair stylist Daren Terry is urging his clients to avoid cutting their locks while his salon is closed during the coronavirus lockdown – and help raise money for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice in the process.

Daren, who runs Lotus Styling, in Aldwick Road, with his wife Kate, has vowed to donate £1 to the charity for every one of the salon’s clients who steers clear of the scissors and clippers.

Daren, said: “We have spent hours creating magnificent hair for our loyal clients and the last thing we want is for them to — in the kindest possible way — ruin their hair.”

“We’re so proud of our work, we want to be able to continue it when the pandemic is over and we are open again for business, so we’re urging everyone to leave well alone for the time being.
