Bognor Regis Lions Club has received a much-needed boost after a £500 donation from the The Co-operative Food shop in Rose Green.

Richard Johns, president of Bognor Regis Lions Club, said: “They have been collecting on our behalf throughout the past year and were able to send us the money just at the right moment.”

Richard thanked Rose Green Co-op manager John Tyson for the donation and presented him with a notice to display in the shop.

The Lions Club has found it difficult to raise money to support many local causes during the lockdown and the notice explains how grateful the club was for the unexpected donation.
