The subject is ‘Land, Sea, Sky – this is Bognor Regis’ and the first prize is £100, to be split between the winning family and the school the child attends.

Parents and children are invited to each take a photograph of a different subject on a mobile phone and send them to [email protected] by November 22.

Judging will be done by members of the Bognor Regis Camera Club with the results announced within ten days of the close of the competition.

It is no accident that this competition begins as the local primary schools start their half term break.

The Friends hope the competition will encourage families to get out in the local area over the half-term break.

The Rotary Club of Bognor Regis has made significant donations in the area to support children over the past few months.

Despite receiving funding from the government the club would welcome further donations to enable it to continue its work.
