'Donald Trump's wife has the same hairdresser as me' says Chichester lady

In the case of Kim Grant, from Chichester, it was nothing out of the ordinary.

Having been going to see celebrity hairstylist Lino Carbosiero at the famous Daniel Galvin salon in London for six years, Kim has become well-accustomed to bumping into the rich and famous, so it 'wasn't a shock' when she found out he had visited First Lady Melania Trump.

"I was used to the fact that prominent and well-known people go in his salon," Kim said. "It's not unusual for me to go in there and see people who are famous and beautifully dressed or accompanied by a chauffeur at the door.

"Phillip Schofield goes in there regularly. He used to do David Cameron's hair. He was the reason why Lino got an MBE.

"He introduced me to Jason Donovan. He did Hilary Clinton's hair and President Clinton's hair at one stage.

"Lino's is absolutely known for people to have their hair in the most fantastic colours you can imagine."

Lino spoke to Lorraine Kelly on ITV on Tuesday morning about his experience styling Melania's hair.

Kim, who has become good friends with her hairdresser over the years, already knew.

She said: "When he told me, I was thrilled for him.

"He told me he was at the American Ambassador's home and was asked if he was happy to do Melania's hair, morning, afternoon and evening. Naturally he meant Donald Trump.

"He had a picture taken, standing between Melania and Donald.

"They said they would ask for him again."
