Spirit of SpeedWeek

Enter into the festivities of SpeedWeek by recreating your favourite elements of Goodwood at home.

Turn your driveway into a Supercar Paddock, dress in Revival fashion, or convert your garden into your very own Richmond Lawn. How about issuing VIP invitations to access to your private ‘Driver’s Club?’ Or, compare notes on your own ‘trackside’ hospitality around your kitchen table.

Six Goodwood regulars have already recorded high-speed laps around the Goodwood circuit using Gran Turismo Sport and the Gran Turismo F1500T-A turbo F1 (in it’s standard form, no tuning please) car as part of the build-up to Goodwood SpeedWeek.

Now gamers are being challeneged to beat their times, and the fastest non-professional who recoeds the quickest hot lap before 23.59 on October 23 will win a Rally Stage: After Dark experience at the Festival of Speed in 2021.

All participants need to do is record a flying lap around Goodwood on Gran Turismo Sport, using the Gran Turismo F1500T-A, and post the resulting lap to either Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag #MastercardHotlaps.

If you are fast enough your time will be included in the top 25 leaderboard alongside professional racing drivers recorded both before SpeedWeek and in a specially set-up rig on site.
