Remembrance Sunday marked across Sussex – from amazing poppy car to 93-year-old’s doorstep display

Remembrance Sunday has been a different affair this year due to the pandemic, but once again the people of Sussex have risen to the occasion to remember the fallen.

More traditional wreath-layings took place across West and East Sussex, but with reduced numbers taking part due to the lockdown which came into force on Thursday. The message to the public was to ‘remember from home’: and many residents excelled themselves with displays outside their homes to remember all those soldiers who lost their lives in the World Wars and other conflicts. Here are some of the highlights. Send us your photos via email or to our Facebook page for the chance to be included in our coverage.
