Residents asked for Selsey funding ideas

Selsey Town Council are asking residents for ideas of where to spends its remaining community funding.

In June 2015, the council created the community fund panel, having received a large sum of money from the surrender of a lease.

The panel, made up of town councillors, considered the benefit of all those applications put forward and awards were made to various groups and charities in April 2016 at the annual town meeting.

Funding of £125,000 remains available and so a new community fund panel was convened in July 2016.

The panel are now encouraging suggestions that would deliver something of lasting impact and significance for the whole community.

Is there something in Selsey that you’ve always wanted to see or do? What could put Selsey on the map?

Suggestions are invited from all residents by February 24 and should be addressed to: the clerk at Selsey Town Council, 55 High Street, Selsey, West Sussex PO20 0RB or emailed to
