Saying thank you to Chichester’s key workers

To mark 100 days of lockdown and the 72nd birthday of the NHS last week, we asked Chichester Observer readers to send in pictures of the people you wanted to thank.

From refuse collectors to supermarket staff, public transport workers to postmen, volunteers, teachers, our emergency services, our carers, NHS workers and many more, they have kept the country running during this difficult time.

So we join you in saying a great big ‘thank you’ to everybody who has worked so hard to provide so many vital services in our beautiful part of the world.

Dan Benham was one of many thanking K&Gs farm shop in Bracklesham Bay.

He said the staff had been ‘doing an amazing job, have not stopped through lockdown supplying customers with all their essentials, going above and beyond, delivering goods to homes of those who could not leave’.

Laura Filer wanted to thank the Kamsons Pharmacy team.

She said: “Amazing group of hard working, beautiful people. Delivering meds, dispensing advice, offering a first class service throughout.”
