Virtual dog show at Chichester care home crowns its prettiest pooch

Marriot House and Lodge Care Home in Chichester received more than 90 entries from residents, relatives, staff and the community in its virtual dog show.

All the entries were displayed on a board at the home and dog-loving staff and residents voted to select their winners.

Irene Pudduck, acting general manager at the home, said: “Thank you to everyone that entered our virtual dog show.

“Our residents have really loved seeing all the pictures arrive! We had so many beautiful entries that choosing the winners was a difficult task.

“Thank you to the local businesses that donated prizes. A good time was had by all.”

Pat, a resident at the home, said: “I have had such a lovely afternoon and seeing all the pictures was amazing! It certainly was difficult to choose the winners!”
