HUNDREDS turned up to the Autumn Countryside Show at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum last weekend.
The sights, sounds and smells of a traditional harvest greeted visitors attending the fantastic fun-filled event.
There was something for everyone, with heavy horses, vintage tractors, steam-powered threshing, a horticultural show, cider-making demonstrations, displays and competitions.
The sprawling 45-acre site welcomed crowds in their droves as farm fanatics and families alike turned up to take in the traditional countryside activities.
Check out this week’s Observer for the full feature and all the coverage of the event (Thursday, October 17).
