Children and their parents have been enjoying getting up close and personal with the new-born lambs at Gaston Farm.

Here are a selection of pictures from the Slindon farm, taken during the open lambing season.

The many families and schools who have been visiting have watched lambs being born and even been able to cuddle and pet some of the animals.

The annual open lambing has been going on at Gaston Farm since March 19 and runs until this Sunday, April 17.

The event helps raise thousands for several charities and the farm also offers tractor and trailer rides as well as chick and duckling handling.
