Police appeal after Bognor assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported assault at a property in Linden Road, Bognor.

A statement has just been issued about the incident which happened on 23 July.

It states: “Officers were called to the address at around 9.25pm by the victim, an 18-year-old man, who said he had his arm pulled through an open window and was punched in the face by a woman stood outside.”

A 42-year-old local woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage. She has been released on bail until August 28 while police enquiries continue.

PC Trevor Pritchard said: “We believe there was some sort of verbal confrontation between the two and would ask anyone who heard or saw something suspicious to get in touch.”
