Police search for missing West Sussex pensioner

Police are appealing for help in locating a missing man with Alzheimer's from Pagham in West Sussex.

Ronald Wicks was last seen at 11am at home in Pagham Road on Saturday (January 9) when he was visited by carers.

olice were informed he was not at home at 12.30pm on Sunday (January 10).

The 78-year-old has Alzheimer’s and has been found walking in the streets in the local area.

However he does have a bus pass which covers the whole of West Sussex and has been known to travel with it to Havant in Hampshire.

Sergeant Ian Maloney said, “We are very concerned as believe Ronald has been out overnight and may have become confused. He is described as white, slim with thin white hair.

“He is believed to be wearing a beige jacket and brown trousers. He also wears glasses for reading.

“Have you seen a man matching this description walking in the Pagham area or waiting at a bus stop?”

Anyone with information or has seen him is urged to get in touch on 999 if he is in danger or [email protected] quoting serial 510 of 10/01.
