POLICE have released this CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak with following a theft in Chichester.

Officers were called to Poundland in East Street at around 5pm on Monday, September 14, after a woman from Berkshire had her purse stolen from her handbag, Sussex Police said.

PC James Upton said: “We would like to speak with anyone who may be able to identify the woman pictured or who perhaps saw anything suspicious in the shop at the time.

“Witnesses can get in touch by emailing 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting reference 1261 of 14/09.”
