Here's why Prince Harry could have a new Bognor Regis park named after him

Prince Harry could have a Bognor Regis park named after him, as a poll has been launched by the council.

The Hothamton car park site is one of two regeneration sites Arun District Council is promoting.

Designs are being drawn up for a '˜linear park' to replace the sunken gardens, although this is a working title.

People can also cast their votes in the foyer at Bognor Regis Town Hall.

The three options are: Pavilion Park, Princess Charlotte Park and Duke of Sussex Park.

Gill Brown, leader of Arun District Council and cabinet member for economy, said: 'The new park will have something for everyone so I would encourage all residents to get involved in choosing a name for this fantastic facility which will really help to regenerate Bognor Regis.'

The title of Duke of Sussex was bestowed on Prince Harry by the Queen just hours before his wedding to Meghan Markle, who then became the Duchess of Sussex.
