MP visits school for Q&A

Pupils at Chichester High School quizzed MP Andrew Tyrie in a question and answer session this week.

Mr Tyrie shared his views on Brexit, lowering the voting age and the role of social media in politics among other issues.

Head girl Nisha Tharmarajah introduced and welcomed Mr Tyrie, with a biography of his achievements as an MP.

Mr Tyrie then took questions from the floor, ending with a request for his greatest and funniest moments in politics.

Head boy George Scutt closed by thanking the MP to appreciative applause.

Head of SMSC (spiritual, moral, social and cultural development) Richard Roman, said that it was great to have the opportunity to keep students talking about politics following the general election and the referendum.
