A DATE has been set for a planning inquiry into a dispute in Southbourne.
The planning inspectorate will host a hearing over Ickleberry Paddock, in Thornham Lane, on Thursday, July 11.
Anthony Hopkins is appealing against a Chichester District Council enforcement notice.
The notice claims Mr Hopkins, has pitched a mobile home on the land and is using it for ‘equestrian purposes’ without planning permission.
Two previous applications for a ‘dwelling and stables’, submitted in 2010 and 2012, were both refused by the district council.
The inquiry will be held from 10am in committee room 2 of East Pallant House, Chichester.
