Residents will need to provide ID, for example a current driving licence, to prove they are a West Sussex resident to be allowed entry to the sites.
Householders who drive a commercial-type vehicle or use a trailer are also being reminded to obtain a free permit before visiting the HWRSs.
The permits are designed to help address congestion at the sites and eliminate illegal disposal of commercial waste: https://www.westsussex.gov.uk/land-waste-and-housing/waste-and-recycling/van-pickup-and-trailer-waste-permit/
