Pre-school celebrates number of successes

Fishbourne Pre-School is celebrating after a number of successes.

Earlier this year, the pre-school was awarded £15,000 from the Big Society Members Fund. This will be used to refurbish and maintain the pre-school’s structure. Louise Goldsmith is due to attend the pre-school and present the BSMF certificate.

Staff member Bev Fuller celebrated 20 years with the pre-school on September 9, having been with the pre-school since its conception.

In addition, the pre-school has been named in the Taylor Wimpey s106 agreement in respect of the land east of Romans Mead/Mosse Gardens Fishbourne, monies to assist with the planned extension in the sum of £42,888.

The pre-school has also been named as one of three to be awarded a grant through the Tesco Bags of Help Grant. This grant relies on members of the public voting at Tesco for their preferred cause. The pre-school have requested £12,000 to improve their outdoor learning facilities.
