POLICE have again extended the bail of a 32-year-old arrested on suspicion of rape.
Chichester Police has not named the man on bail, but said he was ‘local’.
The 25-year-old victim was assaulted in the alley close to the Oxmarket art gallery in Chichester city centre, connecting East Street and the Little London car park.
She was attacked between 10pm and midnight on Saturday, July 26.
Police have appealed to anyone who may have seen anything that night to come forward.
The 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape not long after the incident and was initially bailed until October 9.
This date was then extended to December 19 before police confirmed he had been rebailed again until February 3.
