Road to West Wittering reopens as crews investigate major blaze

Salvage work is now in progress at the property in Apuldram where a fire broke out after 5am.

Ten fire engines attended the scene when they were called at 5.34am and four remain at the scene to damp down.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire is now under investigation.
