RSPCA continue probe into Mount Noddy

AN INVESTIGATION is still ongoing by the RSPCA into Mount Noddy.

In April, the trustees of the Eartham-based animal rescue centre were all suspended, after a ‘number of concerns’ were raised.

A spokeswoman for the RSPCA confirmed this week the investigation was ‘still ongoing for now’, with it being likely to take several months to conclude.

She added: “In the meantime, the day-to-day business of the branch will carry on as normal of course and we can assure local supporters that the care of animals at the RSPCA Mount Noddy Animal Centre is our top priority.”

The cause of the suspensions and investigation has not been revealed to date.
