Get ready – Santa Claus is coming to Chichester.
Father Christmas will be making special appearances at the Novium museum from Saturday, December 3, where children can pop into his festive grotto between 11am – 3pm.
It promises to be a truly magical experience and Father Christmas will spend time chatting with each child before taking requests for Christmas presents.
That’s not all, with Saturday also being the first day of the city’s Christmas market.
Until Sunday, December 11, residents and visitors can shop for something a little different.
There will also be a live nativity scene outside Marks and Spencer on East Street.
Charlotte Wickins, Chichester BID manager said: “Chichester’s festive programme stands out in the calendar and we’re delighted with the positive response it receives from shoppers and visitors.
“People from across the region travel to Chichester for the Christmas festivities we put on, whilst visiting our vast choice of independent shops to find unique gifts.
“Chichester’s excellent eateries, striking architecture with wide Roman streets offers a wonderful atmosphere and makes shopping a real pleasure.
“Chichester is such a great place to be at this time of year.”
