Selsey's ASDA announces opening date

A brand new supermarket in Selsey has released its grand opening dates.

Asda today revealed the opening date of the new store, set to be the June 12.

The £8m, 14,000 square foot store has created over 80 jobs for local residents, in a mixture of full and part time roles across all of its deparments.

The store boasts a wide variety of fresh produce, as well as on-site baked bread, handmande pizzas and a rotisserie with ready to eat cooked chicken.

Martyn Compton, General Store Manager at Asda Selsey said: “The team has been working really hard over the past weeks to get everything in place for our launch day.

“We can’t wait to open the store, and we’re really looking forward to meeting and being a part of the local community.”

The new store will have easy access links and will have more than 176 customer car parking spaces.
