Shopkeeper sells herself a £100,000 winning lottery scratchcard

A lucky shopkeeper has won £100,000 after buying a National Lottery scratchcard in her own shop.

Christine Cole, from Leigh Park, bought her winning 10X Cash ticket in the shop she owns, Super Shop newsagents in Emsworth.

The 57-year-old is still taken aback by winning the huge prize.

Christine said: “I’ve never had money like this in my life, I don’t know what i’m going to even spend it on yet.”

Posing for pictures with her husband Peter, she said: “I’m absolutely delighted, I’m over the moon.”

Christine had to be investigated by lottery officials before being awarded her jackpot to make sure she purchased the scratchcard.
