SIR Patrick Moore has made it into the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
The astronomer and broadcaster from Selsey had his biography added to the dictionary last week, along with 221 other men and women who left their mark on British life, and who also died in the year 2012.
Sir Patrick first presented The Sky at Night on BBC television on April 24, 1957, and continued doing so for more than 50 years.
