As a special needs teacher, Kate has dedicated her working life to helping children with physical and behavioural issues. She is soon relocating to the Middle East to continue her career and entered the competition in the hope of winning as part of her new start.

Kate said: “A good friend of mine suggested I enter the Vitality competition knowing how much I’d always wanted teeth whitening and I thought, why not?

“I couldn’t believe my luck when I was told that I’d won. I’m now really looking forward to seeing my new teeth in a few weeks’ time. The brighter look will mean I can smile with confidence in my new teaching role overseas.”

Dr Arvin Mirzadeh, dental surgeon and practice principal at Vitality, state-of-the-art boutique dentist, said there had been a really good response to the competition.

“Kate has a lovely smile already and her teeth whitening prize will make it dazzle,” he said.

“The treatment will take about four weeks and, after that, we’ll be taking some professional photos of Kate and her new smile for our website, social media and marketing material.

“She is a very deserving winner.”
