Three residents rescued from Selsey fire

Firefighters rescued three people from a flat this morning after a shed set ablaze.

Fire crews from Selsey, Chichester and Bognor were called to High Street in Selsey at 6.41am to tackle the fire, using six breathing apparatus and three jets.

Residents in the flat adjacent to the blaze were rescued from the first floor flat and then checked over by the ambulance service.

The shed was completely destroyed by the fire.

Nobody was hurt.
