Clients got top hair tips and salon-savvy advice at a charity night and fundraiser at Lookfantastic hair salon in Chichester.
The hair salon in Eastgate Square raised more than £500 for Breast Cancer research and St Wilfrid’s Hospice on Thursday. October 18.
Clients were given a chance to discuss everyday issues about their hair and given practical advice about blow-drying, styling and using hair straighteners effectively.
Diane Lyndon-Smith said: “We would like to thank everybody who attended the charity night to raise money for the charities.
“The evening was an overwhelming success with more than 40 clients supporting us and going home not only with some goodies, but also with some of their questions answered and problems solved.
“This is the second charity evening we’ve had and we aim to make it an annual event as it gets better each time!
“We had some wonderful raffle prizes donated – thanks to GHD who supplied some limited-edition pink straighteners. Moore Foods generously provided the best brownies in town and Sandra Hilditch kindly supplied mouth-watering chocolates.”
Lisa Caddy from Philip Kingsley, one of the leading authorities in health and hair, went to the salon to offer hair and scalp analysis as well as giving clients a deep-conditioning scalp treatment.
