A27 reopens outside Chichester after crash

Emergency services responded to a crash on the A27 outside Chichester this morning (Wednesday, July 8).

Sussex Police said one person suffered minor injuries after the single-vehicle collision at around 10am.

Traffic was said to be stationary in the area after the accident on A27 westbound from A259 Cathedral Way (Fishbourne Roundabout) to Emsworth Services.

The road was blocked to allow for the recovery of a vehicle, which ‘left the carriageway’.

Police confirmed the car involved in the crash was recovered by 12.30pm.
