Five-vehicle crash in Fittleworth

A fire severvice spokesman said a female was cut free from a vehicle at the scene on the A283 The Fleet.

Firefighters left the scene at 5.45pm. The crash happened at about 4.15pm.

The fire service spokesperson said five vehicles were involved. It is unknown at this stage if there were any injuries.

The A283 Lower Street in Pulborough was blocked in both directions between the A29 Church Hill junction and the Bedham Lane junction.

The road has now re-opened.
