Oving traffic lights: Highways England apologises for delays

Highways England has apologised to motorists following issues with the Oving traffic lights yesterday (Tuesday, April 27).

Reports came in on Tuesday morning that the traffic lights at the junction of Oving Road and the Chichester Bypass were faulty and causing delays to traffic.

Highways England said it is carrying out regular checks to find the cause of the issues.

More than 1,000 people back petition to save Oving traffic lightsA Highways England spokesperson said: “We are carrying out daily checks on the traffic lights at Oving Road to make sure they are working as well as possible while we work on trying to find out what the problem is.
