Pedestrian taken to hospital with serious injuries after collision with motorcyclist in Westergate
A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a collision with a motorcyclist on the A29 Westergate this afternoon (Monday), Sussex Police has confirmed.
Delays were reported after the incident, which police said happened on Nyton Road at 12.32pm.
South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed the pedestrian suffered hip injuries and was assessed before being taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Police said the road reopened at 1.56pm.
