Sussex evening travel report for Thursday, October 15
Here is your evening travel update for Sussex on Thursday, October 15.
B2124 Laughton Road, in Ringmer, was partly blocked due to an accident at Moor Lane but the road has reportedly cleared.
Queuing traffic has been reported in the construction area on A27 Polegate By Pass both ways between Brown Jack Avenue and A22 Polegate Road (Cop Hall Roundabout). Lane restrictions are in place for long-term carriageway works. The eastbound side is heavily congested.
There is also slow traffic on A259 Worthing Road both ways between A284 Lyminster Road and B2187 Horsham Road. Temporary traffic lights are in place.
There are delays on A259 New Road both ways from A280 Angmering Bypass (Blue Star Roundabout) to B2140 Station Road, due to a reduced speed limit for roadworks.
Traffic sources said there is traffic on A27 Upper Brighton Road both ways between A24 Findon Road and Upper West Lane. Further delays building south on the A24 heading towards Offington Corner.
There is reportedly very slow traffic on A27 Old Shoreham Road Westbound from A283 Steyning Road to A2025 Grinstead Lane (Sompting Roundabout).
