Sussex morning travel update for Friday, September 4

An accident has taken place this morning in Hove.

According to reports, it involved a car on the B2066 in New Church Road near Pembroke Avenue.

The incident is affecting traffic in both directions.

According to reports, the car is believed to have collided with a bollard.

There is also congestion this morning on the A27 Polegate Bypass in both directions between Brown Jack Avenue and A22 Polegate Road (Cophall Roundabout) while ongoing construction work takes place. Lane closures are in place.
