Trains delayed after vehicle collides with Yapton level crossing
Train services are experiencing delays after a vehicle collided with the level crossing at Yapton.
Trains were stopped after the level crossing was damaged in the incident, a Southern Rail spokesman said.
Network Rail staff were sent to assess the damage.
Southern Rail said: “Yapton level crossing is shut to road and foot traffic, so please avoid the area.”
Lines are now back open and services are able to run once more, but are still subject to delays.
