BIRD lovers can view a large range of winter birds at a Sussex Bird Safari in Medmerry Nature Reserve.
The reserve, which is managed by RSPB, is home to a diverse range of wildlife and birds including wildfowl and waders.
Visitors will be given the opportunity to spend the whole day exploring the area which should be partly flooded at this time of the year.
Anyone wishing to attend should meet at the Information Centre, at Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve, on Friday, January 23, by 9.30am.
The event will be hosted by Mike Russell, from the Sussex Wildlife Trust, and explorers will be able to stay until 4pm.
Places must be booked in advance and costs will vary for Sussex Wildlife Trust members and non-members.
Visitors should bring appropriate footwear, a lunch box and refreshments.
