POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of a Bognor Regis man.
Aelfred “Aelfi” Morris was last seen getting off a train at Barnham railway station on Saturday, June 15.
CCTV footage shows the 27-year-old buying a ticket at Angmering railway station shortly after 10am on Saturday.
He gets off a train at Barnham shortly before 10.45am, gets onto his bike and rides away in the direction of Lake Lane.
There are no more reported sightings of him after then.
His disappearance is out of character and his family are very concerned.
Aelfred had set off to cycle to his grandmother’s home in Felpham but never arrived.
Inspector Nick Bowman, of Bognor Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We and Aelfred’s family are very concerned about him.
“We’re doing all we can to try to find him, hopefully safe and well.
“We are particularly keen to speak to people from the Middleton, Elmer and Felpham areas who may have seen Aelfred in the last few days or remember seeing someone fitting his description.
“If anyone has any information, please contact us.”
Aelfred, who lives in the town, is described as slim and about 6ft 3ins. He has short dark hair and a beard and was wearing a cream hoodie and jeans when he was last seen.
He is riding a blue mountain bike and is wearing a blue rucksack.
Dedicated teams and volunteers from the Lowland Search and Rescue Team have searched Eartham Woods near Slindon, where Aelfred has recently been, as well as woodland near Arundel.
