Firefighters from Chichester were at the scene of a crash on the A27 westbound in the early hours this morning.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to the incident at 1.20am this morning (September 30), which happened between Chichester and Havant.
The car rolled over in road works, said the spokesman, and the scene was made safe using sand after a small spillage of fuel.
The car was winched to the side of road and the incident was left with police.
A heavy rescue tender from Worthing was initially called to the scene, however it was not needed.
No-one was trapped in the car or thought to have been injured in the crash.
Crews had made the scene safe and cleared the road by 2.30am.
