Firefighters are still at the scene of a blaze which raged throughout the night at a home in Bognor.
Around 14 fire crews from across West Sussex along with specialist crews have spent more than 15 hours fighting the flames at a property in Shripney Lane, Shripney.
A spokesman for the fire service said the blaze first broke out at the home at 4.30pm yesterday (Monday April 4).
The thatched roof of the property caught alight and a crane and hose reels were used to tackle the flames.
Five crews are still at the scene carrying out ‘fire fighting’ operations and ‘salvation works’, the spokesman added.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
