UPDATE: Nutbourne line reopened after person hit by train

NETWORK Rail has confirmed trains are running again between Chichester and Havant after someone was struck by a train.

Replacement buses have been running for the past couple of hours after the incident was reported this afternoon (November 5).

The Observer has contacted the British Transport Police, which is leading the investigation, but is yet to get an update on the condition of the person struck.

National Rail is reporting delays of up to 35 minutes between Chichester and Havant until 8pm.
